In 2002, Michael Hogan's 1911 stucco home had been owned by his family ever since his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. F. J. Hogan, bought it in 1913.
Their son, Frank, who was in second grade at the time of purchase, would eventually raise his family here as well. Frank's life was spent in the entertainment business. He began as a bandleader, traveling to many midwestern venues including Lake Delavan, Wisconsin and in Chicago at the Edgewater Beach Hotel. Frank became a theatrical agent, whose clients included Shelly Berman and Bob Newhart.
