6533 N. Glenwood The gardens near and around Sheila Tobin's house in 2002 looked wonderful due to her constant care. ![]() As she sees them, there are five gardens -- first, a very full sun garden at the southeast corner of Loyola and Glenwood. The moschetto (a large hibiscus like flower) was the star that summer, along with the mums, sedum and Russian sage. The second garden is an ever-changing round of seasonal flowers at the front of the house with bulbs, bushes, perennials and annuals. There is usually a changing array in the parkway area and on the porch, with tropical plants, annuals and hanging baskets. |
