Our Place, Our Members

Rogers Park is one of the most culturally and economically diverse neighborhoods in Chicago and the nation.

Located in the far northeast corner of the city, more than 80 languages are spoken among the community's 63,000 residents. "In a city made famous for an accepted and often The Gangenforced cultural and socio-economic homogeneity within neighborhoods," says the Chicago Tribune, "Rogers Park stands almost alone as an exception."

As does the community, our club members celebrate diversity and value harmonious living.
We continually seek to add more of our local ethnic variety to our membership of caring and giving individuals beyond the preponderance of members from the Indo/Pak community for which Devon Avenue is internationally famous.

Our membership started out with very large numbers of charter members, but during the first and second years evolved into a smaller core of dedicated members. We hope that by becoming 'lean and mean' that we can communicate and cooperate in a more effective manner.
