The CLASSROOM DISPLAY SET of the Alexander Arrangement of Elements
Developed for classroom display and reference, the set consists of both a 3D and a wall display; a standard periodic table with one variation - the "down slide" between one period and the next, the patented helix part of the 3D AAE. The element boxes show element name, atomic numbers and weights, and chemical symbols.
The 3D part of the set is die-cut for quick and accurate preparation for assembly, and the 2D chart is the same printing.
Recently created element designations are unun- terms beyond element 104.
Laminated on 25"x 38" index card stock, black on white, and diecut for easy assembly into 3D, the construction of this eye-opening three-dimensional display of the periodic table has been eased by professional design of the slots and tabs, by diecutting all that needs cutting, and providing instructions that are carefully tested and illustrated.
This 15-1/2" x 19" x 14-1/2" three-dimensional display model is assembled in about the same sequence as the student participation version, which you can see at the
interactive version assembly steps page.
A periodic table poster for wall hanging, the same size, is packaged with the 3-D Arrangement, with aluminum rails top and bottom. The poster can be seen behind the Display AAE above, and both it and the 3D model carry identical element data in the boxes. A brief history of the periodic table is below the chart.
Glen Seaborg is shown with his "favorite" periodic table, a custom made AAE.
