Glenn T. Seaborg in the Guinness Book of Records

Glenn T. Seaborg in the
Guinness World Records 2000 book

Inclusion of Dr. Seaborg in the Guinness World Records is explained in the accompanying copy;

"SMALLEST AMOUNT OF SUBSTANCE
In 1997, Seaborgium (Sg – element 106) was deduced from the production of only seven atoms. It was named in honor of Dr. Glenn Seaborg (pictured), the late Nobel Prize–winning physicist who discovered plutonium."
This record has been broken since then.

He is shown with the element named after him near his left thumb on the Alexander Arrangement of Elements in this picture, also used in TIMe magazine and elsewhere.

Guinness includes Dr. Seaborg again, for having the longest entry in "Who's Who in America."

Seaborgium is also the only element named after a living person –– another record.
