So, you want to host a meeting? Brave soul!

After reviewing the following, the next thing you'll want to do is contact any member of the Steering Committee.

Here's what you'll need:
1) A topic. We can help you develop your raw idea into that which would benefit the professional development of our members.

2)
Speakers. Most of our hosts usually have something they wish to present, and we encourage this. But we can also help you flesh out your program with other professionals who have relevant information or experiences to share.

3)
A date. We generally meet quarterly.

4)
A space. Meetings usually attract 30 to 50 members.

5)
Equipment. Any special equipment (overhead projectors, videos, etc. depending on the nature of the topic and presentations).

6)
Food. Most hosts provide an array of munchies, soft drinks, and coffee. Traditionally we charge members $7 at the door to defray this expense.

7)
Invitation. Host institutions mail out invitations to the CMEG membership. A steering committee member can help you put together the invitation. Commercial sponsorship for these costs are acceptable.
